How you’ll power our business as a Litigation Controller - Part Time
Reporting to the Assistant Credit Control Manager, you will be responsible for processing accounts within the litigation department and liaise with our debt collection partners.
Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040.
We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas.
We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio‑fuels and renewable gases.

- Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Actioning accounts through litigation process as required in line with agreed processes
- Release orders where applicable
- Responsible for updating of the accounts held by High Court Enforcement Officers and other third‑party enforcement agents as required
- Maintenance of the bad debt provision, ensuring ledger balances are accurate, and that up‑to‑date commentary is maintained
- Submission of insurance and insolvency claims as required in line with policy requirements
- Dealing with incoming queries in a professional timely manner

- Demonstrates a sound knowledge of debt collection including a variety of techniques which may be used.
- Can negotiate with customers to bring a satisfactory outcome to all parties in difficult circumstances.
