How you’ll power our business as an Operational Trainer - Driver Training & Compliance:
- This is more than a training role – this is a national leadership position in driver standards and compliance.
- Act as the national authority on professional driving standards at Flogas.
- Serve as the strategic lead for coaching capability across the organisation.
- Be the final decision-maker on escalated DriveCam and training matters.
- Lead the development of a consistent, professional, and compliant driver training programme nationwide.
- Provide expert coaching and support to Driver Trainer Assessors (DTAs), managers, and drivers.
- Drive improvements in safe and compliant driving practices across the business.
- Design and deliver structured, high-impact training programmes.
- Apply recognised frameworks to ensure learning is clear and measurable.
- Align all training outcomes with operational priorities and business goals.
Ideal for someone passionate about driver safety, compliance, and professional development.
What we’ll need from you:
- Strong experience in driver training, coaching, or compliance roles.
- Proven adjudication and decision-making skills in safety-critical environments.
- Class 1 license ADR.
- Willingness to travel across the UK regularly to support sites.
- Instructional qualification preferred.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing abilities.
- Reliable and flexible approach to working hours.
- A Criminal (DBS) Check will apply to this post.
