Overview
National New Business Development Manager role at Flogas Britain. You will help large national accounts with their dynamic energy needs, deliver long-term strategy for new and existing accounts, and lead internal and external relationships to promote our portfolio in the New Energies market to support customers on their path to net zero.
The candidate will need to be proficient in providing technically based engineering solutions to our customers.
What we’ll need from you
You will support the creation and delivery of the National Accounts New Business strategy in line with the Commercial Vision
- Develop and deliver the new business strategy for specific customers and channels in the National Accounts portfolio
- Manage the profitable growth and retention of National Accounts in line the organisational strategy
- Own negotiations with National Account customers to ensure the best long-term outcome for Flogas Britain.
- Deliver long term sustainable new business growth in line with business targets through effective commercial management working closely with the Commercial finance team to deliver business return on investment targets
- Monthly review of all P&L metrics with appropriate planning and interventions put in place to ensure achievement of company goals
- To work closely with the design and project management team ensuring on time and on budget project delivery
- To deliver a new energies target selling the full portfolio of equipment and solutions that we can provide both new and existing customers.
- Proven experience of selling engineering based technical solutions
- Proven experience of working within a professional customer focused environment
- Proven experience of working within a field-based sales role
- Proven experience of working with complex national accounts
- Proven experience of working with senior decision makers
- Proven understanding of solution based selling techniques
- Demonstrate ability to achieve targets and maintain margin
- Full Valid UK Driving Licence
- Experience of working within a demanding blue-chip organisation, with a proven track record of wins at a national level
- A base understanding of engineering principles i.e. engines, power generation etc
- Ability to understand financial data
- High level of numeracy
- Committed, persuasive and personable with fluent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of IT competency and experience of Microsoft packages including Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Power Point
