How you’ll power our business as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician:

  • Reporting into the Senior Maintenance Supervisor, you will initially work alongside experienced engineers to undertake the technical installations and inspections of large LPG tanks.
  • Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Identify faulty equipment through observation, troubleshooting, and testing metrics.
  • Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 with at least 5 years post Apprenticeship experience; it would be desirable to be working towards or having attained a qualification to HNC or NVQ Level 4.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Work experience on industrial process plants in the chemical or oil and gas industry.
  • An understanding of condition monitoring techniques and best practice lubrication practice would be an advantage.
  • A strong safety and work quality attitude will be essential.
