How You’ll Power Our Business

As a Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of Flogas Britain LPG vessels at customers' premises. This role will also involve call out and repair work within working hours and out of hours standby cover which will involve some weekend and bank holiday work. Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out routine maintenance work at Flogas customers' premises & Flogas sites
  • Carry out on site installations of LPG Vessels, pipework, and auxiliary equipment at customer sites
  • Conduct 10 year and enhanced 20-year testing on LPG tanks
  • Respond to reports of faults or leaks at customer installations (bulk and cylinder) both in normal working hours and out of hours on an ‘on‑call’ rota basis
  • Carry out tank exchanges and on-site re‑valve of tanks including liquid transfer
  • Carry out vehicle stock counts

What We’ll Need From You

  • Hold a current UK driving licence (light vehicle up to 3.5 tonne)
  • Ability to meet agreed deadlines and work overtime as required
  • Good verbal and written communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full ACS Certification
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of LGUK Code of Practices
