Flogas Britain is seeking a proactive and technically minded Renewable Projects Engineer to play a key role in the design, delivery, and analysis of pioneering renewable fuel demonstrator projects.
Flogas are pursuing several low carbon fuel projects including:
- A three-year initiative to grow and process biomass feedstock into renewable dimethyl ether (rDME), which will be blended with LPG to create a sustainable, lower-carbon energy source.
- A project with Cardiff University to demonstrate the world's first ammonia fuelled steam boiler.
- A collaboration between DCC and SHVE to explore sustainable opportunities for the generation of renewable liquid gas (rLG) and renewable and recycled carbon dimethyl ether (rDME).
The role combines engineering design, data analysis, and planning ensuring the projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. This position will suit an engineer or technical professional with experience in renewable energy systems, biofuels, or chemical process development.
