How you’ll power our business as an ER Manager
We’re looking for a dedicated Employee Relations professional to take ownership of all ER and absence cases, ensuring high standards of case management via our internal tracker. You will provide expert guidance and coaching to managers, supporting them in handling investigations, conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary matters effectively and confidently. You\’ll drive best practice in our processes, forms, and templates while also supporting the development and delivery of key People initiatives. A key aspect of this role is providing commercially focused advice to the business, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies. You will manage occupational health referrals and long-term absence cases, supporting both employees and managers throughout. In addition, you will oversee the accurate tracking of case data, analysing trends to inform proactive people strategies and policy improvements. Working closely with the People Team, you\’ll contribute to the wider People Plan, support project delivery, and maintain strong relationships across the organisation to ensure a consistent and high-quality employee experience.

What we’ll need from you
- CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable).
- Proven experience in an HR advisory or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
