How you’ll power our business as a Welder:
- An exciting position has become available within our small welding/Fabrication Team based at Knowsley, where you will undertake general fabrication duties and welding of various pipework and other carbon & stainless-steel products.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Fabrication of various ¾” – 8” pipework, steel framework, pipe supports, channels etc.
- Welding of various pipework including socket and butt welding, steel framework, pipe supports, leg channels, channels etc.
- Reading and understanding of isometric drawings, P&ID’s & GA’s.
- Be of a position where you will work from time-to-time on site (away from home) to fabricate and weld.
- Assist with other engineering duties on site when required.
- Be proactive in general H&S duties and standards with the workplace.
What we’ll need from you:
- Have the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out coded and uncoded welding.
- Have socket and Butt-welding experience.
- Competent in Tig & MMA welding, BSEN ISO 9606-1.
- Own codes in welding would be advantageous.
- Ability and experience to use a PC with some knowledge of Excel and Word.
