As an EC&I Technician, you will support the installation, maintenance, testing, and fault-finding of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems while developing the technical skills and hands-on experience needed to work independently across a range of industrial environments. Travel requirements around the UK are part of this role and candidates must be flexible to accommodate this.

What we’ll need from you:

  • Basic understanding of PLC functioning
  • Basic understanding of installation and commissioning of Hazardous Area Electrical systems
  • Understanding of instrument calibration, Inspection and Testing of a wide range of instrumentation: Pressure, level, flow, temperature (Analogue & Digital)
  • Basic understanding of engineering documentation (Functional Design Specification (FDS), User Requirements Specification (URS))
  • Experience on IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel & Office
  • Committed, persuasive and personable with fluent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good fault finding and problem-solving skills
