The Role
Broker Development Manager – accelerate distribution through brokers, maximise existing broker relationships and develop new ones.

You’ve worked in insurance (underwriting, broking, sales, partnerships, operations) and want to transfer your skills into a new area. You’re interested in commercial insurance sales, distribution, account management, strategy, business development or broker relations.

Responsibilities
- Build great relationships with our brokers – understand and engage with our network.
- Drive growth – identify opportunities, drive new business submissions and support winning deals.
- Product expertise – become an expert on the Flock product and showcase its benefits.
- Represent Flock’s distribution team internally and externally.
- Help brokers onboard – support them, coach on Flock’s proposition and help them win first risks.
Qualifications – Essential
- Insurance experience: 1+ year in underwriting, broking, sales, business development, partnerships or operations.
- Energy & innovation: hunger, curiosity, passion to learn, winning mentality, team-oriented.
- Insurance market knowledge – high-level understanding of intermediaries in commercial/B2B cycles (personal lines acceptable).
- Sales mentality – desire to drive sales and develop broker accounts.
- Relationship builder – great communication, natural ability to build relationships with brokers.
Qualifications – Preferable
- Current or prior sales role.
- Experience distributing products into the broker market.
- Understanding of the motor fleet sales cycle.
