We are seeking a full‑time Concrete Technologist / Product Development Technician to join our team onsite in Lisburn. We are looking for a motivated and hands‑on individual to join our growing concrete manufacturing business. The role will involve working with bagged concrete products, ready mix concrete, and mortar products to help develop and improve our concrete mixes and manufacturing processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Developing and adjusting concrete mix designs
  • Testing concrete and mortar products
  • Monitoring setting and hardening times
  • Trialling new admixtures and chemical additives
  • Researching and testing new products and materials on the market
  • Recording and analysing test results
  • Assisting with quality control procedures
  • Working alongside production staff to improve consistency and performance
  • Helping develop new products for the business

Qualifications

  • Experience in concrete, construction materials, quarrying, or manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge of concrete mix design or admixtures desirable
  • Practical and problem‑solving mindset
  • Comfortable carrying out hands‑on testing and experiments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full driving licence preferred

Desirable Qualifications
