Overview

Flo is the world’s #1 health & fitness app worldwide on a mission to build a better future for female health. Backed by a $200M investment led by General Atlantic, we became the first product of our kind to reach a $1B valuation in 2024. With 6M paid subscribers and the highest-rated experience in the App Store’s health category, we’ve spent 10 years earning trust at scale. Now, we’re building the next generation of digital health – AI-powered, privacy-first, clinically backed – to help our users know their body better.

The needs of the user are everything to us, and how those needs are served falls under our Product teams. We are looking for a Localisation Project Manager superstar to support Flo teams by embedding localisation as part of their internationalisation strategy.

In this role you will directly support our Localisation Operations Hubs, focused on testing and language quality, while managing a range of localisation projects across different Flo content types from initial planning to testing and release. You will report to the Localisation Operations Lead and will work in close collaboration with the rest of the Localisation team, Division Coordinators, external vendors and key stakeholders across the business.

Your Experience

  • Notable localisation experience in the online space and with scalable localisation infrastructures;
  • Experience in revamping processes and workflows that allow for continuous localisation and ongoing improvement in agile environments;
  • Outstanding stakeholder management and prioritisation skills;
  • Proactive attitude and a sense of urgency;
  • Solution-driven thinking, acknowledges own mistakes and learns from them;
  • Ability to pivot from low-level detail to high-level view during both strategy execution and problem-solving;
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and contractors;
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Jira;
  • Strong analytical skills and high ability to interpret data;
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and across cultures;
  • Exceptional organisational skills;
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to OKR development, production roadmap planning, impact reporting;
  • Experience with AI translation and prompt engineering;
  • Ability to anticipate edge cases or potential problems and plan accordingly;
  • Experience in product localisation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Partner with Localisation Project and Program Managers to ensure that operational hub and product localisation-related roadmaps and scheduled releases are adhered to across languages;
  • Manage end-to-end localisation requests from across Flo teams from initial production planning to testing and release;
  • Own the review of source content and liaise with requestors to align on internationalisation best practices and adequacy of translatable content;
  • Take an active part in vendor management to ensure localisation is delivered on time and at the right level of quality;
  • Work closely with Language Leads assigned to monitor and improve language quality to ensure ongoing improvement and root cause analysis and ongoing maintenance of language assets;
  • Monitor, measure and report on operational KPIs, project progress, potential risks and delays to localisation requestors and key stakeholders;
  • Drive process improvement related to localisation production for operational efficiency and scalability;
  • Document processes related to day-to-day localisation production and maintain them up to date.

How we work

We’re a mission-led, product-driven team. We move fast, stay focused and take ownership – from brief to build to impact. Debate is encouraged. Decisions are shared. We care about craft, ship with purpose, and always raise the bar.

You’ll be working with people who take their work seriously, not themselves. It takes commitment, resilience, and the drive to keep going when things get tough. Because better health outcomes are worth it.

What you’ll get

  • Competitive salary and annual reviews;
  • Opportunity to participate in Flo’s performance incentive scheme;
  • Paid holiday, sick leave, and female health leave;
  • Enhanced parental leave and pay for maternity, paternity, same-sex and adoptive parents;

  • Flexible office + home working, up to 2 months a year working abroad;
  • 5-week fully paid sabbatical at 5-year Floversary;
  • Flo Premium for friends & family, plus more health, pension and wellbeing perks.
