Join Our Team at FläktGroup Ireland. FläktGroup Ireland is seeking a DC Sales Key Account Manager for OFCI and CFCI projects within the DC vertical. Pursue end users, contractors and consultants in Ireland for specified and non-specified projects within the EMEA region, driving growth and fostering long-term partnerships with key Data Centre clients while delivering high-performance HVAC and cooling solutions across EMEA markets.

Purpose of the Position

Drive sustainable revenue growth and strategic customer partnerships by acting as the key account owner for assigned DC accounts, positioning FläktGroup as a preferred partner for HVAC, clean air, and controlled environment solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Penetration & Hunting: Proactively identify and penetrate new business opportunities within the hyperscale, colocation data centre sectors across EMEA.
  • Strategic Account Ownership: Fully own and lead the global and regional key account strategy for assigned customers, ensuring FläktGroup is positioned as the primary solution provider.
  • Pipeline & Revenue Growth: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing long-term, complex sales cycles to exceed annual order intake and revenue targets.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and leverage deep-seated relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers within the data centre ecosystem.
  • Account Planning & Execution: Develop and drive comprehensive, multi-year account plans that align FläktGroup’s cooling technologies with the client’s infrastructure roadmap.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions, ensuring agreements are both profitable and mutually beneficial.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Global Account teams in Europe, the US, India, SE Asia and ANZ to ensure a unified approach to multinational clients.
  • Business Intelligence: Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) with key accounts, providing data-driven insights, performance updates, and strategic recommendations for improvement.

Key Qualifications

  • Industry Expertise: Minimum of 5+ years of direct experience within the data centre industry (cooling, power, or infrastructure).
  • Proven Network: An existing, active network of key decision makers and influencers among major EMEA data centre operators and developers.
  • Sales Excellence: A proven track record of "hunting" and winning large-scale contracts, with a history of consistently exceeding sales and growth targets.
  • Strategic Capability: Experience in strategic sales or global account management, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder organizational structures.
  • Operational Flexibility: Ability to manage a high travel schedule within the APAC region and may occasionally require extended working hours across different time zones to coordinate with regional teams and clients.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical (Engineering) or Business field is preferred.
