FläktGroup Ireland is seeking a strategic Global Pharma Key Account Manager to join our team, driving growth and fostering long-term partnerships with key pharmaceutical clients while delivering high-performance HVAC and cooling solutions across global markets.

Purpose of the Position

Drive sustainable global revenue growth and strategic customer partnerships by acting as the global commercial owner for assigned pharmaceutical key accounts, positioning FläktGroup as a preferred partner for HVAC, clean air, and controlled environment solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

  • Own and manage assigned global pharmaceutical key accounts/regions and serve as the primary commercial point of contact at corporate, regional, and site levels.
  • Develop and execute global key account plans, including growth targets, opportunity pipelines, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Identify, pursue, and influence early-stage global and regional pharma projects, ensuring FläktGroup solutions are specified.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships within customer organizations, EPCs, and key influencers, trade organizations or industry organizations.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-regional sales teams and internal stakeholders to deliver consistent global account execution.
  • Drive framework agreements, preferred supplier programs, and global pricing strategies in alignment with corporate governance.
  • Support and lead complex, high-value global bids and negotiations.
  • Monitor global pharmaceutical industry trends and translate customer needs into value-adding FläktGroup solutions.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity tracking, and account data within CRM systems.

Basic Requirements of the Position

Education/Knowledge/Certification:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Master’s degree or MBA
  • Commercial or project management certifications
  • Training or certification related to cleanroom technology, GMP, or pharmaceutical engineering.

Experience:

Must-Have:

  • 8–12+ years of experience in B2B sales or key account management
  • Proven experience managing multinational or global customers
  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, cleanroom, HVAC, or engineered solutions environments

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working with GMP environments.
  • Exposure to quotation tools, CRM, or ERP systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP).

Skills:

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in (Technical) English.
  • Strategic key account management and consultative selling skills
  • Strong commercial and negotiation capabilities
  • Ability to coordinate across regions, cultures, and time zones
  • High-level communication and stakeholder management skills
