Flixton Road Medical Centre, based in Urmston, Trafford is looking for General Practice Salaried Doctors to work between up to 6 sessions per week – Monday 8am-4pm, Wednesday 9am-5pm and Thursday 8am-4pm. This is to cover maternity leave which will finish on the 31st May 2026.
Main duties of the job:
- 13 AskMyGP made up of pre-booked F2F and telephone calls
- Own bloods to be reviewed and patients contacted
- A proportion of annual review bloods to be reviewed and patients contacted
- Routine prescriptions to be signed (60 per session)
- Limited Docman (usually max 10 letters per session)
The practice uses EMIS Web, AskMyGP, One Template, Docman, and Accurx. Please be aware that we do not offer Visa Sponsorship.

- Practice Manager and Assistant Practice Manager oversee the everyday running of the Practice.
- 2 Partners, 8 Salaried GPs, ST GPs, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 Assistant Practitioners, 2 Clinical Pharmacists (Prescribers) and a Pharmacy Technician.
- The practice also has shared ARRS staff comprising of Adult Social Prescribers, First Contact Physios and Dieticians.

Job responsibilities:
The Practice uses AskMyGP, but your face to face appointments and telephone calls will be pre-booked for you. Each session consists of 13 consultations plus admin time for scripts, bloods, docman. The Practice also uses One Template to allow for easy referring and inputting of data from consultations into patient records.

- Registered with National Performers List
- Eligibility to perform in the UK independently
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Full UK valid driving licence
Experience:
- Experience of working within primary care
- Experience of EMIS Web and AMGP would be beneficial but training would be provided
- Experience of QoF and CCG/NHSE initiatives
