Flix (known as FlixBus) is a tech-driven mobility provider aiming to make travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable. As a Shop & Station Agent at Flix, you will make a direct impact by supporting travelers at our new FlixShop in Edinburgh Bus Station, managing station operations, and promoting our green mobility mission. Be a part of our new operations team in Edinburgh, driving the opening of our first UK travel shop where we help thousands of people travel smart and sustainably every day. You’ll be part of the local frontline team ensuring our passengers enjoy a smooth, friendly, and professional travel experience.

About The Role

  • Welcome and guide passengers at the Edinburgh FlixBus shop and Edinburgh Bus Station
  • Support travelers with personalised travel advice and promote FlixBus products and services
  • Perform ticket checks, check-ins, and coordinate smooth departures with drivers
  • Assist passengers during disruptions by providing timely updates and practical solutions
  • Monitor and report operational issues such as delays, competitor activity, or customer feedback
  • Manage ticket sales, refunds, and daily cash handling in the Flix Shop
  • Use digital tools (apps, tablets) to support efficient station operations and communication

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (transport, hospitality, retail, tourism, etc.)
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, supportive presence
  • Comfortable using digital tools to manage day-to-day station tasks
  • Resilient under pressure and able to remain professional in challenging situations
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts Monday–Sunday between 07:00 and 00:00
  • Proactive, motivated, and eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
