A leading real estate capital markets advisory team is seeking an Analyst to join its London office. The group is a top-tier advisory platform comprised of experienced real estate investment banking professionals across equity and debt capital markets. The team has executed a significant volume of transactions across all major asset classes.
Role Overview
The Analyst will support the real estate debt & structured finance practice. This is a highly analytical, fast-paced capital markets role with exposure across the full transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Build financial models for cash flows, capital structures, and underwriting analyses
- Prepare pitch materials, offering memoranda, and transaction narratives
- Conduct market research and analyse comparable transactions and appraisals
- Review legal and financial documentation (loan agreements, financial statements, JV agreements, etc.)
- Support transaction execution from initial marketing through closing
- Participate in client meetings, pipeline discussions, and industry networking
- Maintain internal transaction databases and support business development efforts
Candidate Profile
- 18 months–2 years of experience in real estate, real estate finance, investment banking, or lending/investing.
- Highly analytical with strong financial modelling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field preferred
Compensation
Base salary expected in the range of £60,000 - £75,000 with eligibility for discretionary bonus and additional incentive compensation, plus full benefits.
