The firm works with institutional investors and other market participants to inform the design and evaluation of investment strategies. Its services are underpinned by quantitative research and an objective, systematic methodology.
As the business continues to expand its research capability and systematic product offering, they are now looking to hire a Quantitative Analyst to support the development, testing, and ongoing enhancement of data-driven investment strategies.
Role: Quantitative Analyst – Systematic Investing
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
What You’ll Do:
- Support the design and ongoing enhancement of systematic investment strategies
- Develop and analyse quantitative models for portfolio construction and performance evaluation
- Work with large datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and robustness of analysis
- Conduct back-testing and risk analysis to assess strategy behaviour
- Collaborate with research, product, and technology teams to support implementation
- Contribute to documentation and analytical materials for clients and stakeholders
- Improve research efficiency through process optimisation and automation
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong quantitative background in mathematics, statistics, econometrics, physics, or a related discipline
- Experience in a quantitative research, analytics, or investment role within asset management, fintech, or financial services
- Proficiency in Python (or similar) for data analysis, modelling, and research workflows
- Solid understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction, and systematic investment approaches
- Ability to work with complex datasets and communicate analytical outcomes clearly and precisely
- High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a rigorous, evidence-based mindset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with ESG, climate, or impact-focused investment strategies
- Familiarity with index methodologies or rules-based portfolio construction
- Exposure to SQL, cloud-based data environments, or version-controlled research workflows
- Experience contributing to client reporting or investment methodology documentation
- High-visibility role within a growing, specialist investment research organisation
