A leading global investment banking advisory firm is looking to hire an Associate into its EMEA Natural Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing platform advising corporates, private equity sponsors and institutional investors on complex M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory mandates across the natural resources sector.
Working alongside senior bankers on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions, you will take on meaningful responsibility from day one in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Build and review detailed financial models, valuations and transaction analyses.
- Execute M&A, capital raising and restructuring mandates.
- Conduct company, industry and market research to support live transactions and business development.
- Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and transaction documentation.
- Analyse financial statements, operating performance and strategic opportunities.
- Coordinate with clients, senior bankers and wider deal teams throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Prior experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory or a related transaction-focused environment.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical capabilities.
- Solid understanding of accounting, corporate finance and transaction processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
- Commercially minded, proactive and team-oriented.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics or a related discipline preferred.
- Master's degree in Finance or Economics desirable.
