A leading investment manager is seeking to hire an Associate into its Investment team as part of continued growth across its UK and European portfolios. With approximately €6bn AUM, the fund invests across a broad range of Infrastructure and Energy verticals. As deal activity continues to accelerate, the fund is looking to add a high-calibre Associate who will play a key role in transaction execution, portfolio management, and investment analysis across new and existing assets.

Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

What You’ll Do

  • Investment Analysis & Execution
    • Support the end-to-end execution of infrastructure and energy investments across the UK and Europe
    • Build and review complex financial models, including valuation, sensitivity analysis, and investment returns
    • Conduct commercial, financial, and technical due diligence alongside external advisors
    • Prepare investment committee papers, internal memoranda, and transaction documentation
  • Transaction Support
    • Assist in structuring equity investments and negotiating key commercial terms
    • Coordinate with legal, financial, and technical advisors through transaction processes
    • Support deal execution through signing and closing
  • Portfolio Management
    • Assist with monitoring portfolio company performance against business plans
    • Support asset management initiatives, including strategic reviews, refinancing, and bolt-on acquisitions
    • Prepare performance analysis and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Market & Sector Research
    • Conduct thematic and sector research across infrastructure and energy verticals
    • Support origination efforts through market mapping and screening of new opportunities

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–6 years’ experience in an infrastructure or energy-focused investment role, or as an Associate within an Infrastructure/Energy Investment Banking or Advisory team
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience across equity investments
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure and energy assets, capital structures, and risk assessment
  • Experience working across transactions in the UK and/or European markets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Commercial mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
