A leading investment manager is seeking to hire a Data Analyst to join its Investment platform as part of continued growth across its UK and European portfolios. With approximately €6bn AUM, the fund invests across a broad range of Infrastructure and Energy verticals. As the platform continues to scale, the firm is strengthening its data and analytics capability to better support investment decision-making and portfolio oversight.
The successful candidate will work closely with investment professionals, building data-driven tools and insights that enhance analysis across new investments and existing assets.
- Location: London (Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in the office)
- Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Data & Analytics Development
- Design, build, and maintain analytical tools and dashboards to support investment teams
- Develop robust data pipelines to enable scalable analysis
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple internal and external sources
Investment Team Support
- Partner closely with investment analysts and associates to support deal analysis and portfolio monitoring
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for non-data-fluent stakeholders
- Support ad-hoc analysis for investment committees, portfolio reviews, and strategic initiatives
Reporting & Insights
- Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency and decision-making
- Continuously refine analytical outputs based on feedback from investment professionals
Sector & Market Data
- Support sector-level analysis across infrastructure and energy verticals
- Assist with market mapping, benchmarking, and screening activities
- Contribute to the development of a data-driven investment culture across the platform
What You’ll Bring
- 3–6 years’ experience in a data analyst, analytics, or quantitative role, ideally supporting investment, finance, or commercial teams
- Strong technical skills in SQL and Python, with experience building analytical tools and workflows
- A solid quantitative background with a clear interest in supporting investment decision-making
- Ability to clearly explain data concepts, insights, and limitations to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative approach
