As a Final Inspector, you will support the final inspection of all components produced within Teledyne Labtech, ensuring products meet engineering drawings and customer requirements. Job Purpose: The Final Inspector works within a team responsible for inspecting, measuring, and electrically testing finished PCB products against industry standards or customer specifications. You will report to the Final Inspection Supervisor and work day shifts. Key responsibilities: Visually inspecting finished PCB products for features such as appearance and finish against IPC standards or customer specifications. Measuring key dimensions using manual or automated optical measurement equipment. Operating automated electrical test machines to verify connectivity against customer netlists. Operating Automatic Optical Inspection machines to verify circuitry accuracy. Raising Internal Corrective Actions (ICAs) to address quality issues. Ensuring activities comply with work instructions, SOPs, and health and safety regulations. Communicating relevant information to supervisors and colleagues. Completing paperwork promptly, including work sheets and process documents. Participating in departmental meetings as required. Training in dispatch and packing procedures to cover for the Packing and Despatch team. Assisting the Final Inspection Supervisor as needed. Qualifications and Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Good numeracy and literacy skills. Experience in inspection roles is advantageous.
