Maintain full control of all tooling including:

  • Teledyne-owned tooling
  • Customer-owned tooling

Ensure all tooling is:

  • uniquely identified
  • correctly stored
  • protected from damage or deterioration

Manage the tooling register, ensuring accurate records of:

  • tooling status
  • location
  • condition
  • ownership

Define and manage calibration and verification requirements.

Ensure tooling requiring calibration is:

  • included within the calibration system
  • within valid calibration status

Coordinate tooling:

  • inspection
  • maintenance
  • repair
  • replacement

Remove defective tooling from service and control to prevent use.

Perform inspection activities including:

  • in-process inspection
  • final inspection
  • incoming inspection where required

Verify product conformity against:

  • drawings
  • specifications
  • work instructions

Record inspection results in line with company requirements.

Raise non-conformances (NCRs) where product does not meet requirements.

Support:

  • MRB / concession processes
  • root cause investigations
  • corrective actions

Ensure compliance with:

  • AS9100
  • customer requirements (Airbus, GKN, etc.)

Ensure tooling control meets:

  • AS9100 requirements
  • calibration system requirements
  • customer-specific requirements

Ensure inspection activities are:

  • traceable
  • recorded
  • compliant with defined requirements

Maintain control of customer-owned tooling in line with contractual obligations.

Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environment.

Understanding of:

  • tooling control
  • inspection processes
  • calibration systems

Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Strong attention to detail.

Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
