Raymarine is a major supplier of electronic navigation and other equipment for marine use. The company principally targets the recreational market, but also serves first responder and light commercial markets. The middleweight UX Designer works within a team of designers on the south coast of England, solving complex UX challenges and creating beautiful, distinctive, and simple interfaces. The team designs products and services across a range of platforms – from embedded interfaces in dedicated hardware (navigation displays, VHF radios, autopilots, remote controls, etc.) to mobile applications and web services. Each of our products presents unique and interesting user interface design challenges.
We sit in an increasingly competitive sector, but one where user experience plays a key differentiating role. Our products are used worldwide, helping hundreds of thousands of boaters enjoy their time on the water with safety and confidence, using the latest technology.
