As a Global Product Manager at Raymarine, you will shape the future of marine electronics by driving the strategy, vision, and performance of a key product portfolio. Your leadership will ensure that Raymarine continues to deliver innovative, reliable, and market‑leading solutions for boaters around the world.

You will own the full product lifecycle—from insight and ideation through launch, growth, and end‑of‑life—ensuring every decision is grounded in customer needs, commercial opportunity, and technical feasibility. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and regional teams to translate market intelligence into compelling product propositions that strengthen Raymarine’s competitive edge.

Your contribution will include:

  • Defining global product strategy and roadmap, informed by market trends, customer research, and competitive analysis.
  • Leading cross‑functional teams to deliver products on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Acting as the voice of the customer, ensuring product experiences exceed expectations across all markets.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including OEM partners, dealers, and distributors.
  • Developing business cases, pricing strategies, and go‑to‑market plans that maximise commercial success.
  • Monitoring product performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving continuous optimisation.
  • Representing Raymarine at industry events, customer visits, and field trials to gather insights and champion product excellence.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to Raymarine’s global growth, shaping products that inspire confidence, elevate user experience, and set new standards for marine technology. Your strategic thinking, customer focus, and passion for innovation will directly influence the future of our brand and the boating community worldwide.

Your job in plain text:

  • Maintain a knowledge base of the competitive marketplace, including feature sets, pricing strategies and discount seasonality.
  • Conduct relevant market and product research.
  • Undertake Voice of Customer research through interactions with end consumers, distribution partners, OEM’s, and global sales team.
  • Produce efficient, structured, market and competition research, including market size, market segmentation and competitor analysis.
  • Development of a roadmap for product portfolios, incorporating product line maintenance and retirement.
  • Prioritise products and features as determined by the business, customers, and market needs.
  • Drafting Market Requirements Documents to clearly convey product features of value that will attract target consumers.
  • Creating and presenting product concepts including competitive analysis, market analysis, business case, clear customer requirements, identify customer issues/problems and detail feature differentiation.
  • Aid Sales, Marketing and Product Support to help maintain momentum throughout the entire product life cycle. Including pricing and route to market strategies.
  • Dedicate time on the water to evaluate current and new products as they progress through development. Benchmark performance against the relevant competitive set.
  • Coordinate product setup activities, including part creation, initial forecasting, sample management, marketing material review, out-of-box audits, etc.
  • Coordinate product launch activities. Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop effective launch materials that include details on segmentation focus, target consumer messaging and positioning of the Raymarine offering within the competitive set.
  • Represent products and software within the PLG (quality process), helping determine the critical nature of existing issues and supporting them through until resolution.

Core Competencies:
  • Roadmap Planning, Strategy and Execution - Ability to plan a roadmap from an understanding of the market and Voice of Customer.
  • Market analysis and research - Understanding of market size and segmentation, competitor analysis and the ability to show figures in an easy, understandable format.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making skills.
  • Marine industry knowledge - A boater with sailing, cruising, fishing or offshore experience. Or passionate about boating.
  • Relationship management skills - Forms connections with both internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent.
  • Product Management or relevant business experience.
  • A good understanding of consumer electronics and ideally automotive industry.
  • Working within a product development environment.
  • Basic understanding of legal contracts and commercial agreements.
