An Operator in the Assembly team is responsible for assembling sophisticated electro-optical instruments that incorporate mechanical, optical, and electronic components.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a dedicated team to assemble electro-optical instruments.
- Ensure quality work standards.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Support the team in meeting customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: at least a grade C or above in Maths and English O Level/GCSE or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles.
- Willingness to learn, flexible attitude, and a positive 'can do' approach.
- Experience with small equipment and intricate parts (model kits, embroidery, nail art, PC/laptop hardware, mobile phone rebuild).
- Experience in assembly processes and techniques.
- Optical handling experience is an advantage.
