We are Flippd, and we are currently looking for four Educational Psychologists with experience in dyslexia assessments to join us on a contract basis. At Flippd, we help parents better understand dyslexia and support them in obtaining assessments when appropriate and needed. This is a flexible contracting opportunity, allowing you to choose your availability and where the assessment will take place. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about helping children and families access timely, high-quality dyslexia assessments. This is a contract-based hybrid role for an Educational Psychologist. We are ideally looking for 4 x Educational Psychologists with a range of remote only assessments and in-person assessments. The primary responsibilities include conducting assessments, advising parents and clients, and explaining the outcome of the assessment. The role involves both face-to-face and remote interaction (Your choice), ensuring personalised and effective support for each individual.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Psychology and experience in conducting Psychological Assessments
  • Understanding of Mental Health principles and familiarity with Counseling strategies
  • Knowledge of Dyslexia-specific challenges and specialized strategies
  • A degree in Educational Psychology or a related field, with appropriate licensure or certification
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Experience in educational or healthcare settings is an advantage
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as an Educational Psychologist
  • Demonstrable specialism in dyslexia assessment and identification
  • Master's or Doctoral qualification in Educational Psychology, Child Psychology, or a related field
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
  • Experience presenting webinars or educational workshops
  • Knowledge of current SEND and dyslexia best practices
