About this role…
The Field Sales SDR plays a critical role in driving the growth of our business by identifying, qualifying, and generating new business opportunities. This is a full time field sales SDR role that combines fieldwork and strategic outreach to connect with potential clients, schedule meetings, and set the stage for long-term relationships. The ideal candidate is energetic, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
In this job, you’ll:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify potential clients within assigned territories. Use tools like CRM systems and other lead generation platforms to build a robust pipeline.
- Client Outreach: Engage with prospects through a mix of field visits, phone calls, emails, and social media outreach. Deliver compelling pitches tailored to the needs and pain points of prospects.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified meetings or product demonstrations for the Field Sales Account Executives. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff process
- Territory Management: Maintain a consistent field presence by visiting potential client locations. Attend networking events, trade shows, and local business gatherings to represent the company.
- Data Management: Update and manage prospect data in the CRM system. Track and report on key performance metrics, including outreach activities, lead quality, and conversion rates.
- Collaboration: Partner with Field Sales Account Executives to refine outreach strategies and feedback from the field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience working in restaurants as supervisors, operators, team lead
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Comfort with cold calling, cold walk-ins, in-person meetings, and managing rejection.
- High energy, resilience, and a growth mindset.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Entry Level Role – no formal experience required in commercial sales but preferred.
- Experience in the restaurant sectors with companies selling into the restaurant sectors preferred.
- Understanding of the sales process and ability to engage with decision-makers.
