We are the UKs biggest and best adventure park brand! We are now recruiting for a Focused & Brilliant - F&B Manager to lead our in-park Diner operation.
Job Overview
Reporting into the General Manager and with circa 10 direct reports you will support your General Manager to lead, inspire and create an environment where we “Create Unforgettable Experiences One Guest at a Time” for the thousands of visitors that you will welcome into your park & diner with a very clear mindset where the safety of our team members and our guests is our highest priority.
Key Measure of Success
- The maintenance and on-going improvement of the Company’s guest experience and feedback performance with the F&B operation.
- The rigorous adherence to all applicable health and safety standards, with particular emphasis upon standard operating procedures, team member training, and operational performance monitoring.
- The achievement of the Company’s business Key Performance Indicators including revenue targets, spend per head, stock management, operating costs, and overall budget management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Our diner offers a variety of children's favourite food and beverages. Depending on each park, we offer a range from hot dogs to pizzas, chocolates to crisps, coffee to slushies. We have something to offer everyone!
- You will train and assist the back of house preparing food items, along with the front of house for packed foods/beverages!
- You will thrive in a multi-function, fast-paced, high footfall environment where being hands-on is an essential part of your role.
- Follow the parks opening and closing operational directives for the diner along with all other operational daily, weekly & monthly objectives as per the operational platform.
- Be a keyholder and perform Duty Management shifts for the park when required.
- You will lead the way when it comes to ‘Getting stuck in’ and showing your team what a leader you are.
- You will enjoy partnering, supporting and obtaining directives from your General Manager in recruiting, coaching, developing and mentoring your teams.
- Guest experience is at the heart of what we do so the ability to be face to face with your guests when your needed most is an absolute must.
- Spot every opportunity to increase SPH in the diner and where practicable, present a business plan to your GM to highlight your ideas to further our success.
- The Health & Safety of our teams and guests is our highest priority and as such this will always be at the top of your agenda when coaching and leading your team in day to day diner operations.
- To manage the effective and efficient operation of the diner’s overall management resources. This includes planned preventive and breakdown maintenance of department equipment, the operation of the catering and guest party services, and active management of all required inspection regimes.
- Interpret feedback from stakeholders and ensure this is dealt with promptly & professionally.
- To lead and support the General Manager in the operation of the store’s team member performance management arrangements, including the effective operation of the probation period scheme, and any individual casework (for example, attendance, punctuality, sickness, maternity/paternity etc, discipline, grievance, etc) management, as required.
- You will create and maintain an exciting and energetic workplace for your teams and a safe, fun-filled, exciting adventure park for all of our guests.

Qualifications/Skills
- Strong Food & Beverage Management Background
- All about the Guests!
- A true hands-on leader
- Food Hygiene/Safety level 2 & 3 desirable
- Stock-take, stock rotation and stock ordering experience
- Organised, with a strong understanding of numbers
- Health & Safety knowledge
Working Conditions
This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, working any 5 days out of 7 with Saturday & Sunday work essential. Hours typically are between 8am-9pm - usually 8 hour shifts (there may be more hours required during peak times).
