Full Time Fixed Term (for 2 years)

Based at Ty Dewi Sant Offices, Ewloe/ Hybrid Working

We are looking for professional, competent and enthusiastic people who are able to communicate well at all levels, with the ability to cope with a demanding workload.

Role Overview

Your role will focus on private sector housing inspections, dealing with houses of multiple occupation (HMO’s), complaint investigations, along with public health work associated with residential properties.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Environmental Health, ideally with experience as an Environmental Health Officer working in the field of Housing Enforcement.
  • Recent graduates also welcomed.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexible approach to work, and solution focused outlook.
  • Welsh speaking and writing skills desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct private sector housing inspections.
  • Investigate complaints regarding housing.
  • Perform public health work associated with residential properties.
  • Work across all areas within the team in a friendly and supportive environment.
