Job Description

Role Specification: Data Lake Developer

Key Responsibilities & Skillset:

  • Data Lake Architecture:

    • Design and implement scalable data lake solutions leveraging Elasticsearch for efficient data storage, indexing, and retrieval.

    • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability across distributed environments.

  • Data Ingestion & Processing:

    • Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines using tools such as Logstash, Filebeat, or custom ETL frameworks.

    • Handle diverse data types including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from multiple sources.

  • Search & Query Expertise:

    • Proficient in Elasticsearch Query DSL for building filters, aggregations, and advanced full-text search queries.

    • Optimize search performance and relevance tuning for analytics workloads.

  • Cluster Management:

    • Solid understanding of Elasticsearch architecture, including nodes, shards, replicas, and scaling strategies for distributed systems.

    • Experience in configuring and monitoring cluster health and resource utilization.

  • Visualization & Analytics:

    • Create insightful dashboards and visualizations for data analytics and system monitoring using Kibana or equivalent tools.

  • Version Control & Collaboration:

    • Proficient with Git for source control, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows.
