We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with telecoms operator experience to lead the delivery of complex technology and infrastructure projects within a fast‑paced telecom environment. The role will involve managing cross‑functional teams, coordinating with suppliers and network partners, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with mobile or fixed network operators, delivering projects across network infrastructure, IT systems, and service transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of telecommunications projects from initiation through deployment and operational handover.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams across network engineering, IT, operations, and external vendors.
- Deliver telecom infrastructure and technology projects such as network upgrades, mobile rollouts, fibre deployments, and platform implementations.
- Maintain strong governance through risk management, RAID logs, reporting, and change control processes.
- Provide regular updates and executive reporting to senior stakeholders and programme boards.
- Manage relationships with telecom vendors, system integrators, and delivery partners.
- Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards, security requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Support service transition and operational readiness for newly deployed systems and infrastructure.
- Proven experience delivering projects for telecommunications operators.
- Strong understanding of telecom technologies such as mobile networks (3G/4G/5G), transmission, fibre, IP networks, or OSS/BSS platforms.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi‑vendor and cross‑functional project teams.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with technical teams and senior leadership.
- Experience working within structured delivery frameworks such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP.
