We are seeking Integration Engineers/System Engineer - Lab Environments & Network Configuration with strong expertise in Linux administration and TCP/IP protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up new builds and environments within a lab setting.
- Create and test system/software configuration files.
- Configure Firewalls and network devices.
- Develop and implement test procedures for test campaigns and performance evaluations.
- Generate and maintain technical documentation for efficient planning and execution.
- Manage design and engineering documentation to ensure thorough tracking.
- Provide third-level support to resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to define and design new services and features to enhance performance or meet new requirements.
- Review existing software and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement in scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and overall architectural integrity.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
- University degree or equivalent in Computing Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug complex systems, implement quick fixes, and deliver long-term solutions.
- Extensive experience with Linux administration, including RHCSA certification or equivalent knowledge.
- Proficiency in quickly developing proof of concepts/prototypes.
- Expertise in TCP/IP Networking.
- Strong knowledge of iptables/iproute/tc stack.
- Proven experience with SQL (PostgreSQL).
- Proficient in SELinux and strong systems security knowledge.
- Basic familiarity with git.
- Experience in customer-facing roles.
- Proven ability to document and describe complex systems.
- Methodical approach to system design and testing.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Quick learner, especially when dealing with new software, infrastructure, and tools.
