We are looking for an experienced Packet Core/EPC Engineer to join our team specializing in E2E optimization across 5G, 4G, and Legacy technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of 3G, 4G, and 5G Packet Core Network architecture and operations, along with strong expertise in RAN performance and optimization to enhance customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze network KPIs, drive tests, and crowdsource data to improve 4G/5G network performance.
- Propose and implement Packet Data Performance Improvement Design recommendations and tuning changes.
- Collaborate with RAN, IMS Core, and Transmission teams to deliver holistic E2E solutions.
- Troubleshoot HW, SW, and signalling flow issues using tools like Wireshark, NetScout, and Empirix.
- Drive continuous improvements in customer experience KPIs.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of Packet Core Networks (MME, Packet Gateway, PCRF) and IMS Core.
- Proficiency in 3G MPC elements, protocols (GTP, Diameter, RANAP), and VoLTE solutions.
- Proven experience in network performance analysis and optimization of LTE/VoLTE/5G networks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with 5G SA Core deployment.
