Role Summary
Responsible for analysing Radio Access Network (RAN) signalling and performance logs to identify network issues, support troubleshooting, and improve KPIs across LTE and 5G networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyse RAN logs from OSS, eNodeB, and gNodeB systems.
- Investigate call drops, accessibility failures, handover issues, and throughput degradation.
- Interpret RRC, S1AP, X2AP, and NGAP signalling messages.
- Provide root-cause analysis and recommendations to RAN Optimization teams.
- Prepare concise technical reports and support incident troubleshooting.
Required Skills
- Understanding of LTE/5G RAN architecture and protocols.
- Experience with log analysis tools (Wireshark, QXDM, TEMS/Nemo).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work with KPI performance metrics and OSS systems.
Experience
1-4 years in RAN operations, optimization, or troubleshooting preferred.
