We are seeking a creative and detail‐oriented Graphic Designer to join Flint Bishop's marketing team in Derby. Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and Creative Brand Manager, you will support the delivery of high‐quality design across a broad range of projects while maintaining and developing the firm's corporate identity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, collaborative environment with training, development, and creative input opportunities. You will be part of a busy in‐house team where you'll handle a high volume of work, including campaign‐led projects and urgent, fast‐turnaround requests from the Executive and Business Development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Production
    • Produce on‐brand design assets for both print and digital channels, including social media graphics, infographics, internal campaign materials, and imagery for the firm's libraries.
    • Create and format pitches, proposals, tenders, and business development materials that are visually strong and aligned with brand guidelines.
    • Design animations, GIFs, short videos, and static banners for social media, email, and web.
    • Edit images and videos to deliver polished final outputs.
    • Reformat and repurpose content across platforms, ensuring consistency when adapting digital materials for print and vice versa.
    • Design with performance in mind, including understanding aspect ratios, compression, file formats, and best‐practice content optimisation.
  • Brand & Template Management
    • Create and update branded templates (PowerPoint, Word, InDesign) used across the business.
    • Manage and organise brand assets ensuring they remain up‐to‐date, consistent, and easy for colleagues to access.
  • Digital Best Practice
    • Apply best practice for LinkedIn, email imagery, website graphics, and other channels to maximise clarity, engagement, and professionalism.
    • Collaborate with the wider Marketing and BD teams to ensure visuals support campaign and channel performance.
  • Teamwork & Culture
    • Work closely with Marketing, BD, and other internal teams to understand requirements and deliver creative, effective solutions.
    • Contribute ideas that enhance visual storytelling and improve design quality.
    • Thrive in a fast‐paced, collaborative team with a strong ethos of shared support and continuous improvement.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise
  • Have strong graphic design skills with experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and ideally After Effects or Premiere Pro).
  • Be confident designing for both print and digital environments.
  • Have experience using Canva and strong PowerPoint design ability.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, strong organisation, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines within a busy workflow.
  • Have a solid understanding of branding, typography, layout principles, and colour theory.
  • Be proactive and collaborative communication skills, with a positive approach to receiving and applying feedback.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for professional services marketing and a desire to build and develop your design craft.
  • Have previous experience in a graphic design role is desirable, ideally within professional services or a corporate environment.
