Description

Working alongside our Facilities team and reporting on a day-to-day basis to the Facilities & Coordinator, this role is responsible for completing the full range of cleaning tasks required in order to keep our offices in a clean and orderly condition. The role is onsite working at our Derby office Monday to Friday from 4pm to 8pm totalling 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and stock all office areas, including dusting, vacuuming, surface cleansing, bathroom cleaning, touch points, refuse duties;
  • Check stock levels of all cleaning products on a regular basis and report order requirements to the Facilities & Office Services Manager;
  • Carry out deep cleaning tasks where required;
  • Cooperate with all staff and clients in a friendly and professional manner;
  • Follow all health & safety regulations and internal risk assessments;
  • Maintain ISO 14001 Environmental standards through correct refuse disposal;
  • Carry out additional ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Facilities & Office Services Manager;
  • Clean and stock all office areas, including offices, meeting rooms, boardrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms;
  • Provide ad‑hoc support for large meetings and company events, which may include pre‑event set‑up support and post‑event cleaning as required;
  • Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate additional cleaning requirements that may arise outside the normal routine.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Previous experience in an Office Cleaning role.
  • Be hardworking and be a good team player.
  • Excellent communications skills and confidentiality.
  • Disclosure will be required in the event that a position is offered.
  • Financial checks will be required in the event that a position is offered.
