To support our recruitment drive and ambitious growth plans, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our finance team based at our Derby office. The role reports directly to the Client Transactions Manager and Finance Director. The role is full time, Monday to Friday 09:15 to 17:30 with a one-hour unpaid lunchbreak. Key Responsibilities * Assist in the preparation of Month end Journals * Assist in the preparation of monthly KPIs and producing variance analysis reports * Updating Financial supporting schedules * Production and distribution of various reports to Heads of Departments * Set up and authorise electronic payments on our Online Banking system * Prepare and analyse financial data as required * Assist with Ad Hoc tasks and projects Skills, Knowledge and Expertise * Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel * Be highly self-motivated and comfortable with regular deadlines. * Able to multi-task and prioritise their workload. * Be numerate and highly accurate with their work. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Be hardworking, flexible and a good team player Disclosure will be required in the event that a position is offered.
