DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Conveyancer to join our dynamic team at our Leeds office and provide exceptional service on behalf of our lender clients.
You will be responsible for managing and progressing the sale of \’non-standard\’ residential properties (Freehold, Leasehold & Shared Ownership titles) on behalf of lender clients. You will identify issues that may affect the sale of a property, developing solutions to overcome and making pro‐active recommendations to our clients.
As an experience Conveyancer, you will deal with non-standard matters and complicated sale transactions to conclusion and provide technical conveyancing support and training to team members and clients.
The role is full time, Monday to Friday 37.5 hour per week at our office in Leeds.
Key Responsibilities
Progressing own caseload of non-standard, technical residential property sales.
Charging clients for matter resolution on a time recording or fixed fee basis, as appropriate.
Working against realistic personal fee budget, so an appreciation of personal time recording is essential
Providing technical support and training to colleagues regarding conveyancing issues.
The drafting of contract conditions designed to enable property sales without opportunity for post-completion challenges.
Attending some client meetings and providing training sessions.
Working to client agreed or Departmental service standards.
Identifying areas that may benefit from improvement and assisting in their progression and implementation.
Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseYou will:
Have at least 1-3 years\’ experience in a Conveyancing role
Have exceptional client service skills, going above and beyond client expectations
Enjoy working in a team and thrive in a busy environment
Have great personal organisation skills
Be computer and IT literate
