Flint Bishop is a leading, top-200 law firm with offices in Derby, Leeds, Birmingham & Swansea. Our Debt Recovery team works with a large national client base and has secured all 3 major debt recovery awards in the past year. Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for an Administration Assistant to support the team at our Derby offices.
The Debt Recovery Administration Assistant will be responsible for overseeing the general administration for the Debt Recovery department. This role reports on a day-to-day basis to the Team Leader, Debt Recovery Manager and ultimately to the Head of Debts Services.
Key Responsibilities- Conflict checking
- Running administration activities on Liberate
- Updating Liberate (Appending Emails and correspondence to records)
- Basic Search activity and updating Liberate
- Running new files once conflicts are completed
- Updating files and learning jobs take ons
- Complete post & accounts runs
- Log key court dates on behalf of the team
- Print on behalf of the team
- Process documents through external printing partner or the letter folder where appropriate
- Any other ad hoc administration requirements assigned by the Debt Recovery Managers
- Be organised, process driven and analytical with a pragmatic approach to finding solutions
- Be highly self-motivated and comfortable with regular deadlines
- Be able to multi-task and prioritise the workload
- Be hard-working and a good team player
- Have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
