YOUR MISSION

To drive the growth and performance of FlightStory’s social channels by crafting, editing and optimising short‑form video content that captivates audiences and fuels platform‑native virality. Sitting at the intersection of editorial creativity and data‑driven strategy, this role is responsible for repurposing our short‑form content for different platforms, as well as turning long‑form content into high‑performing, revenue generating social clips across Facebook, YouTube Shorts and Snapchat.

OUTCOMES

Within 6–12 months, you will have grown FlightStory’s short‑form reach across platforms significantly, consistently delivered high‑impact edits that perform above benchmark, and established a repeatable content engine that feeds our social growth and monetisation goals. Your edits will become synonymous with FlightStory’s distinctive storytelling style and set the standard for creator‑led new media.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re a hybrid creator–part storyteller, part strategist. You know how to craft a clip that grabs attention in the first 3 seconds, and you understand what drives watch time, shares, and saves. You can turn around several edits a day. You have experience editing content for high‑growth channels and can blend fast‑paced execution with creative excellence. You’re obsessed with social trends, deeply analytical, and thrive in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Expertise in short‑form social video editing and storytelling with a deep understanding of pacing, structure, and emotion.
  • Strong grasp of platform algorithms and best practices across TikTok, Instagram, Shorts, Facebook, and Snapchat.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and quickly adapt editing strategies to improve results.
