About us

FlightStory is a creator media company that builds and scales creator-led brands. Through FlightStory Studio, we create and grow video-first shows including Steven Bartlett's The Diary Of A CEO, Davina McCall's Begin Again and Paul C. Brunson's We Need To Talk. Our teams combine storytelling, technology, audience growth and commercial expertise to turn powerful voices into media brands that grow across shows, books, products and new formats. The most important part of our machine isn't technology, capital or distribution. It's people. As Steven often says: "The meaning of 'a company' is simply a group of people, and hiring the right ones is the single most important thing you'll do." We're building something ambitious: a talent function that sets a new standard for how a fast-growing company finds, attracts and brings in great people. This role sits right at the centre of that.

The role

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead who treats hiring as a craft, not an admin task. You won't post a role and wait for applicants to land in your inbox. You'll go and find the best people, build relationships with them long before we need them, and bring a calibre of talent to the business that most companies our size only wish they could reach.

Day to day, you will:

  • Own end-to-end recruitment across the business, with a particular focus on marketing and media roles
  • Proactively source and headhunt top talent, building and nurturing talent pools well ahead of a role opening
  • Tap into your own marketing network to reach brilliant people who aren't actively looking
  • Bring an AI-first, forward-thinking approach to how you source, screen and engage candidates
  • Keep our ATS and CRM immaculate: clean data, clear pipelines, and a candidate experience we're proud of
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to define what great looks like for every hire
  • Help shape the systems, standards and processes of a talent function that is still being built, and put your fingerprints on it

What we're looking for

  • Strong recruitment experience, ideally with a marketing and/or media background
  • A genuine hunter: someone who sources proactively rather than waiting on inbound applications
  • A strong marketing network, which would be highly advantageous
  • AI-savvy and forward-thinking in how you recruit, always looking for a smarter, faster way to work
  • Highly organised, and genuinely confident across ATS and CRM platforms and talent pooling
  • Comfortable partnering with senior stakeholders and moving at pace in a fast-growing, high-standards environment

Why join us

You'll help build the talent engine behind some of the most recognised creator brands in the world, with a real mandate to raise the bar. If you want your work to visibly shape a company's growth, this is the seat.
