Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an In-House Solicitor. You will manage airline passenger compensation claims under EU Regulation 261/2004 (EC261) and UK261, including preparing, issuing, and conducting court proceedings. Responsibilities include:
- Drafting legal documents
- Advising on litigation strategy
- Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Managing disputes with airlines
- Providing legal support across the business
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
- Experience conducting civil litigation and submitting claims through the UK courts
- Strong knowledge of EU Regulation 261/2004 (EC261), UK261, and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience in aviation law, consumer rights, or high-volume litigation is an advantage
