As Social Media Manager for our podcast ecosystem, you’ll build and execute social strategies that drive reach, fuel conversation, and create movement.

You’ll help shape the voice of some of the most influential shows in the world scaling them through platform-native storytelling, relentless experimentation, and AI-enhanced workflows.
This is a role for someone who lives and breathes content, sees the audience as currency, and believes social media should drive real business results.

Objectives

Launch & Scale Podcast Brands on Social

  • Own the day-to-day social execution across a portfolio of podcast shows from flagship IP to emerging brands.

  • Develop always-on and campaign-based strategies tailored to each platform and show identity.

  • Turn standout moments into viral content building a system for visibility, reach, and retention.

Build Vibrant, Loyal Communities

  • Create content that not only performs, but also builds fandom.

  • Use AI tools to test formats, personalise content, and scale community engagement.

  • Develop platform-specific playbooks that turn passive listeners into active participants.

Drive Growth Through AI-Enhanced Execution

  • Leverage AI to accelerate workflows from captioning and editing to trend identification and content optimisation.

  • Track and analyse performance in real-time, evolving strategies based on what’s working.

  • Champion automation and experimentation to drive measurable, repeatable growth.

Social Media Expertise: Deep understanding of platform-specific behaviours, trends, and mechanics across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

AI-Driven Execution: You’re hands-on with AI tools, using them to elevate speed, creativity, and effectiveness.

Creative Instincts: You know what makes short-form content resonate and can turn raw episodes into must-share moments.

Data-Led Thinking: You use analytics to inform decisions, not just report results.

Operational Speed: You can move fast without losing quality or control—adapting in real-time.

What Success Looks Like

  • Within 6–12 months, you’ll have launched, scaled, and optimised social channels for FlightStory’s podcast portfolio.

  • You’ll drive double-digit audience growth across key platforms, with AI-optimised workflows supporting scale.

  • You’ll create standout content series that shape conversation, drive new listeners, and build brand equity.

  • Our shows will be seen as leaders in their categories and your social work will turn episodes into events and fans into ambassadors.

Location – Shoreditch, London

– Some roles will require global travel so flexibility in this aspect is important and your hiring manager will confirm this with you during the interview process

Interview Process

Screening Process – Our screening process is designed to assess candidates in a fair way. This gives you an opportunity to share your skill, experience and passion.

Phone Call with the Talent Team – You will share a call with our talent team who will answer any questions you have about the role, our business and any next steps.

1st Interview – This first stage will involve meeting your potential manager and team members.

2nd Stage Interview – Task – Through the task round you get an insight into the day to day responsibilities of the role and we get the opportunity to understand how you work.

Final Stage Interview – The final interview involves meeting a Senior Stakeholder in the business.
