ABOUT STEVEN BARTLETT PRIVATE OFFICE
The team behind Steven Bartlett's ventures - driving innovation across media, marketing, investment, and technology.
ROLE MISSION
Somewhere in the UK right now, there's a brilliant founder talking themselves out of an idea because they don't have access to the right network, capital or resources. We're starting an initiative that changes that, backing high-potential founders from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. This role sits within Steven Bartlett's private office and philanthropy pillar, marketing our most impactful initiatives and accelerating the growth of his soon-to-launch nonprofit. You won't be maintaining an existing audience, you'll be building from zero and expanding to change the lives of 10,000 people over the next 5 years.
KEY OUTCOMES
- Own the end-to-end marketing funnel strategy, from discoverability and awareness through to long-term loyalty and advocacy.
- Split focus across two distinct audiences: beneficiaries (via social, SEO/AEO and newsletter) and supporters, including mentors, donors and brand partners (via CRM and newsletter marketing).
- Hands-on content creation from day one, writing, editing and producing long-form, short-form, video, static image and newsletter content.
- Establish and guard tone-of-voice and brand consistency as we scale and layer in AI to drive content volume.
- Track performance across the funnel and turn insights into experiments: what's converting, what's leaking, what to test or grow next.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Strong generalist marketer with real end-to-end funnel experience, from SEO/AEO and landing pages through organic social to newsletter and long-term nurture.
- A hands-on creator who can write, edit and produce content directly across formats, not just direct the process.
- AI-native, using AI tools to execute strategy and produce content at pace, and to help shape our in-house AI marketing tooling over time.
- Strong platform fluency, with proven experience building social presence and engagement across platforms and audiences.
- Experience with lifecycle/CRM marketing: segmentation, journeys, automation.
- Data-driven, confident making decisions from experimentation rather than gut feel, and reporting on engagement metrics.
KEY OUTCOMES
- You want your creative work to do something that matters.
- You're energised by ambiguity and don't need a detailed brief to get started.
- You think in funnels and outcomes, not posts and impressions.
- You're comfortable being the only marketing hire in the room.
- You believe AI is a creative force multiplier and want to prove it, while protecting the human judgement that makes a brand trustworthy.
IDEAL BACKGROUND
- Experience in startups, media brands, accelerators, charities or community-led businesses.
- Familiarity with Hubspot, GA4, Claude, Canva, Webflow.
- Experience scaling teams and marketing resource.
- Experience in events and community marketing.
- Experience in comms and PR.
