As Head of Communities at FlightStory, you will be responsible for building, nurturing, and scaling a highly engaged community around our brand, content, and investments. Your mission is to foster meaningful connections, amplify our impact, and ensure our community thrives as a hub of inspiration, innovation, and collaboration. You will lead initiatives that deepen relationships with our audience, partners, and stakeholders, creating a strong sense of belonging and advocacy for FlightStory.

Key Outcomes
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive community strategy aligned with FlightStory’s mission, growth objectives, and brand vision.
  • Build and nurture an engaged community across multiple platforms, including social media, forums, and exclusive networking spaces, ensuring high member engagement and value.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, industry leaders, and brand advocates to enhance reach, credibility, and impact.
  • Design, launch, and manage community-driven initiatives, events, and campaigns that increase participation, retention, and brand loyalty.
  • Create and maintain feedback mechanisms to capture community insights and integrate them into FlightStory’s content, products, and services.

What Success Looks Like:

Within the first 6-12 months, you will have built and activated a thriving DOAC community that can be blueprinted across the FlightStory brand ecosystem, significantly increasing engagement across key platforms while developing a network of brand advocates. You will have launched successful community-driven initiatives that enhance audience interaction and brand loyalty. Additionally, you will have implemented effective feedback mechanisms that allow for continuous improvement of FlightStory’s offerings, ensuring our community remains engaged, valued, and continually growing. Your leadership will establish FlightStory as an industry leader in community engagement, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation that aligns with our mission.

Location

London - Shoreditch, we are an in-person-first culture and believe in fostering a vibrant and work environment centred around connection and community. Some roles will require global travel so flexibility in this aspect is important and your hiring manager will confirm this with you during the interview process.
