YOUR MISSION
Your work will be reaching millions of people globally every single day across all our platforms. As Flight Studio’s Creative Editor, you will be responsible for creating best-in-class video content across our brand partnerships. When it comes to the quality and reach of our campaigns, the quality of delivery starts with you. Collaborating seamlessly with our project, podcast, creative and commercial teams, you’ll work within the central creative team to deliver work on time and to a high standard. You’re passionate about great video content and have an eagle eye for detail whilst working in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you’re able to work both independently and collaboratively to solve complex video briefs.
DAY TO DAY
- Own the editing, motion design, and audio output across our branded projects.
- Work across brand partnership projects to establish campaign style and feel for video campaigns.
- Set and protect the standard across all types of video; recognising the difference in principles between longform storytelling and shortform social first content, ensuring these are reflected across all of Flight Studio’s design output.
- Collaborate and communicate with multiple teams (Creative, commercial, social, experimentation) to achieve results that elevate Flight Studio’s content output.
- Own the quality, creativity and delivery of the projects you work on.
- Immerse yourself in the creative process by collaborating with other designers, art directors, video editors, motion designers, animators and strategists; finding opportunities for innovative design workflows and tools.
- Maintain an organised workflow by structuring project files logically, naming assets clearly, and keeping timelines clean and manageable.
- Adhere to a robust backup system, ensuring all project files and assets are securely stored and regularly updated on local drives and cloud platforms.
- Deliver multiple versions of edits, formatted correctly for various platforms, and ensure all deliverables meet technical specifications and creative standards.
- Keep meticulous version control to track changes, ensure consistency, and easily reference previous iterations if required.
- Proactively manage time and deadlines, flagging potential bottlenecks early and ensuring on-time delivery without compromising quality.
- Stay updated on industry-standard tools and techniques to continuously improve workflows and efficiency.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 4+ years of experience working in branded content either in-house, in agency, or freelance.
- Strong ability within the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, with a focus on Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, their video specifications, and trends.
- Exceptional commitment to organisation and organisational tools and software to ensure working priorities are tightly managed and files are kept up to date.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate and effectively collaborate with others.
