About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded HR Business Partner to join our fast-paced, people-led business supporting the London region. This is a varied and highly visible role where you’ll partner closely with Operations Managers, acting as a trusted advisor on all aspects of the people agenda. You’ll combine strategic insight with hands-on support to drive engagement, build leadership capability, strengthen talent pipelines, and ensure our people practices enhance both performance and culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Strategic HR Partnership
    • Partner with Operations Managers to align people strategy with operational and business goals
    • Support the Head of HR in delivering the People Strategy to support long-term business objectives
    • Lead key initiatives across recruitment, retention, engagement, development, and succession
    • Build strong regional relationships through regular venue visits, embedding best practice and supporting high-performing teams
    • Provide insight and feedback on operational execution and people practices
    • Evaluate the impact of learning and development interventions to drive continuous improvement
    • Support operational teams through on-site observations to ensure the delivery and execution of our products align with company standards and expectations
  • Employee Relations
    • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations and welfare for salaried venue employees.
    • Coach and support Operations Managers to resolve people issues effectively, consistently, and in line with best practice.
    • Identify trends, proactively reduce ER case volume, and upskill leaders
  • Talent Management & Development
    • Partner with Operations Managers to identify hiring needs and talent gaps
    • Lead regional talent planning, including succession and capability development
    • Identify training needs and collaborate with L&D on targeted interventions
  • Compliance & Policy
    • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company standards/processes and policies
    • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures
    • Monitor mandatory training completion and ensure we meet regulatory requirements.
  • HR Data & Analytics
    • Use people data to drive decisions and continuous improvement
    • Analyse key metrics including turnover, absence, engagement, and ER trends
    • Maintain accurate HR systems and records
    • Provide actionable insights based on performance and behavioural trends
  • Project Management
    • Lead and deliver key HR projects aligned to the wider People plan
    • Manage timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and impact
    • Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation and reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to challenge and support senior stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Proactive, solution-focused approach with strong commercial awareness
  • Excellent coaching, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Willingness to travel when necessary

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an HR Business Partner in hospitality or a similar multi-site, fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations and partnering with Operations Managers and General Managers.
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex ER cases
  • Experience delivering HR projects and contributing to people strategy
  • Exposure to L&D initiatives and capability building
  • Knowledge of Harri ATS and Fourth Hospitality systems is desirable
