About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Commission Collection Executive to join our team on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). This role offers flexibility, with working patterns of either 4 full days (based on a 37.5-hour equivalent) or 5 days of 6 hours per day.

You will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate collection of commission income, supporting cash flow and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end-to-end commission collection process, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding balances
  • Monitoring aged debt and proactively chasing overdue payments via phone, email, and internal systems
  • Reconciling commission statements and resolving any discrepancies in collaboration with finance and operational teams
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and updating systems with payment and collection activity
  • Building strong relationships with clients, brokers, and internal teams to support smooth and efficient processes
  • Supporting reporting on collection performance, highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Assisting with process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce outstanding debt

About you

You are an organised and motivated individual with a strong eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You are comfortable handling financial data and confident communicating with a range of stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, finance administration, or a similar role
  • Demonstrates strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Is highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Has good analytical skills and can identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Is confident using Excel and finance systems
  • Takes a proactive and persistent approach to chasing outstanding payments
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team

Experience in commission-based environments or working with brokers/clients would be advantageous, but not essential.
