About the role
As a Business Development Manager at Corporate Traveller, you’ll own the full business development cycle, from identifying new prospects to presenting our solutions and securing long-term client partnerships. Your goal is to grow our client portfolio by helping businesses improve the way they manage travel.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively identifying and engaging new clients: Seek out new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and lead generation. Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and maintain consistent contact to position Corporate Traveller as a trusted, long-term partner.
- Understanding client needs and delivering consultative solutions: Take a consultative, solution-selling approach to uncover prospects’ travel challenges, booking behaviours, and business objectives. Present Corporate Traveller’s technology, service offering, and expert support in a way that clearly demonstrates value — helping clients save time, reduce costs, and improve their travel experience.
- Presenting and closing new business: Run engaging sales presentations, confidently demonstrate our online booking tools, negotiate effectively, and guide prospects through the decision-making process to secure new partnerships.
- Supporting onboarding and handover: Ensure a smooth transition for new clients by overseeing onboarding and introducing them to their travel team, setting them up for long-term success from day one.
- Building your pipeline and market presence: Develop strong referral networks and grow your pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship management activities.
- Maintaining strong commercial discipline: Manage your CRM, complete follow-ups and administration, and work toward sales targets, KPIs, and turnover goals set by your manager.
What we’re looking for
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a Business Development Manager role focused on B2B sales
- Proven ability to work in a consultative / solution-selling environment
- A self-motivated, target-driven individual who thrives in a sales environment and enjoys achieving KPIs
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including confidence in client meetings and demonstrations
- Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of sales performance metrics
- A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work autonomously and show initiative
Extra points if you:
- Are confident with networking and self-generated lead generation
- Have experience managing full sales cycles from prospecting to close
- Enjoy building long-term client partnerships rather than transactional sales
